Basic Info BioLike a majority of my queer friends in India, I too have spent the last eight years of my sexual life, living precariously - on the edge of the closet, with the skeleton knocking inside my head, waiting to be swept off my feet or under the carpet, by miraculous strangers bearing magic sceptres . A practicing homosexual, a serial monogamist, an indefatigable romantic wearing blue stockings (preferably with sequins and shiny mirrors on it) with an itch to write. For too long, I have written in third voices, of projected people, of sex by proxy and I have finally gotten it in me to come up and write my own memoirs of what it means to be a cosmopolitan gay man in a large city in India.
This blog also comes as a starting point for my settling down in my skin as I let more and more people into the secret shadows of my life - renaming friends as lovers, acquaintances as fuck buddies. Irreverent, flippant, sarcastic, biatchy, tired, this blog is meant to capture my struggles at handling my sexuality and sex life as I complete the first quarter of the hundred years I intend to live.
One day I shall have a man of my own, to settle down, to dream, to have a family...but till then, the dating, like the fucking show, must go on.
